It’s been a newsworthy week for the Detroit Lions, and that has set the stage for what could be a busy offseason for the team. On Monday alone, the Lions agreed to trade David Montgomery to the Houston Texans and officially cut 2025 starting center Graham Glasgow.

On this week’s PODcast, we discuss the roster fallout of those two moves and how the Lions will adjust.

At running back, is Sione Vaki ready to take the step into the RB2 role or will the Lions invest in the position this offseason? We talk about all of the options in free agency at running back including, potentially, James Conner—should he be released.

The center position is also under flux. On one hand, Juice Scruggs has starting experience and is still relatively young. Don’t forget that the Lions also signed Seth McLaughlin this offseason. On the other hand, if the Lions are truly committed to upgrading their offensive line this offseason, there needs to be a better ‘Plan A’ at center.

Later on the episode, we talk about Terrion Arnold’s potential legal issues, and what that means for the Detroit Lions roster. Then, in the final segment, we talk about the biggest takeaways from NFL Combine week. We break down Dan Campbell’s and Brad Holmes’ press conferences. Then we share the draft prospects who stood out most during the week—both in their media session and via their on-field drills.
