Tommaso Ciampa's AEW debut timeline has been clarified after Fightful Select debunked a report suggesting he could have appeared on January 21. According to AEW sources, Ciampa was still under contract with WWE at that time and couldn't have debuted until January 28 when he became a free agent.
The "Psycho Killer" revealed his debut came together at the last minute while he was on a family vacation in Texas. Despite the rushed schedule, Ciampa managed to appear on both "Dynamite" and "Collision," where he won the TNT Championship from Mark Briscoe before returning to finish his vacation.
