Nelson Attacks Solo in Tour de France Femmes Stage Six

Josie Nelson (Picnic-PostNL) launched a solo attack approaching the first climb in the 153.4km hilly sixth stage of Tour de France Femmes from Montbrison to Tournon-sur-Rhône.

Josie Nelson, from Lichfield in Staffordshire, broke away from the peloton at 139km to go in the stage. However, her attack came as a setback for her team as Eleonora Ciabocco, Lene Robyn Clay, and Mia Griffin were all dropped from the main group.

The 153.4km hilly stage from Montbrison to Tournon-sur-Rhône continues to challenge riders with its demanding terrain as the race progresses through the sixth day of competition. toffler.lol
