Chiefs Restore Arrowhead Stadium Name

The Kansas City Chiefs have officially restored Arrowhead Stadium as the name of their home venue after the GEHA naming rights agreement.

The home of the Kansas City Chiefs will once again be known simply as Arrowhead Stadium after the team announced they are dropping the GEHA Field designation from the official name. The stadium has been referred to as Arrowhead since its opening in 1972, despite a 2021 naming rights deal with the Government Employees Health Association that resulted in the longer official name.

The Chiefs will continue playing at Arrowhead Stadium until their lease expires in 2031, when they will move into a new $3 billion domed stadium being built across the state line in Kansas. That facility has yet to be named. sweetbonanza.qpon
