Norwegian athletics coach Kjell Arve Husby has died at the age of 72, his family confirmed Thursday.

Norwegian athletics coach Kjell Arve Husby (72) has passed away at Oppdal Health Center, his family announced. Husby's most significant achievement came in 1996 when he coached Vebjørn Rodal to a sensational Olympic gold in the 800 meters at the Atlanta Games.
