Norwegian athletics coach Kjell Arve Husby (72) has passed away at Oppdal Health Center, his family announced. Husby's most significant achievement came in 1996 when he coached Vebjørn Rodal to a sensational Olympic gold in the 800 meters at the Atlanta Games.
Interestingly, Husby died the day before it would have been exactly 30 years since that Olympic triumph. The news of his passing comes as the athletics community remembers his legacy in Norwegian sports. catcrossgame.com
