A breakaway trio leads Tour de France 2026 stage two from Tarragona to Barcelona, 168.5km race.

Three riders have established an early breakaway in the second stage of Tour de France 2026. Alex Molenaar (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), Frank van den Broeck (Picnic PostNL), and German champion Felix Engelhardt (Jayco Alula) are leading the 168.5km race from Tarragona to Barcelona. Lotto Intermarché rider Baptiste Veistroffer was briefly isolated from the peloton during a 'nature break' as the main group slowed down.
