Former Inter Miami midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi has made his move to Parma permanent after the Serie A club exercised his €4 million buy option. The American, who came through Inter Miami's academy system, made nine appearances for the Italian side before suffering a season-ending meniscus injury in March. Cremaschi was named U.S. Young Player of the Year last season and has three senior caps to his name.
The 21-year-old struggled for regular playing time at Parma after being critical of former Inter Miami manager Javier Mascherano's tactical approach. His permanent departure provides roster flexibility for the Herons, who have been linked with former Manchester United midfielder Casemiro. The transfer was first reported by Fabrizio Romano. saltysenoritaaz.com
