Rams Acquire Myles Garrett in Blockbuster Trade
Garrett, 30, signed a four-year, $160 million extension with the Browns last season but recently adjusted his contract, allowing the trade. He is a five-time first-team All-Pro selection who set the NFL record with 23 sacks last season and has recorded at least 14 sacks in each of the past five seasons.
Verse won the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2024 after recording 7.5 sacks, 27 QB hits and three forced fumbles last season. The Rams have been Super Bowl favorites since the trade, with odds dropping to +650 at DraftKings. This move continues Los Angeles' defensive overhaul, which previously included acquiring cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs and signing Jaylen Watson in free agency. ipl-cricket.in
Andrew Berry on Myles Garrett: Nothing is final at this point, we're hopeful we close a deal soon
Is Myles Garrett really headed to the Rams?
At this point, everything indicates the answer to that question is a resounding yes.
But the trade is not complete quite yet.
Browns General Manager Andrew Berry spoke to assembled media at the organization's charity golf event on Monday, just after reports of the deal surfaced on social media.
"Real quick, obviously we wanted today to be about the Browns foundation and everything that we’re doing, the good work we’re doing there. Not naive that there’s a lot in the social media sphere, media sphere regarding Myles. Nothing is final at this point," Berry said, via Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan. "We are in discussions of a potential transaction including him. I’ll have a lot more to say about it once it is final — if it does become final. And I’ll discuss the details at that point. But we are in negotiations. We’re hopeful that we close something here in the next several hours. But nothing is final right yet.
"Like I said, I’ll have an update for you guys maybe as soon as tomorrow when there’s resolution."
Berry did not answer a couple of follow-up questions to his statement, noting that was all he had to say on the matter right now.
The fact that reports surfaced on social media is an indication that the deal is, as a practical matter, going to be executed. But it will not be completely official until compensation is agreed to and Garrett passes his physical.
There's no reason to believe Garrett would not pass a physical at this point.
At present, reporting indicates the Browns will trade Garrett to the Rams in exchange for edge rusher a 2027 first-round pick, edge rusher Jared Verse, and additional draft compensation.
PSG now stand alongside some of Europe’s best-ever, but with caveats
The origin of PSG’s largesse and the effect it’s had on their domestic game can’t be ignored, even as we appreciate the team’s stunning quality
Since 1990, only one side had ever successfully defended the Champions League – Real Madrid, who won three in a row between 2016 and 2018. Paris Saint-Germain’s victory in the final on Saturday elevates them to a new tier of the pantheon. No bad side has ever won the European Cup or Champions League, but only great sides have ever retained it.
Arsenal pushed them much closer than Inter had in losing in the final the previous year, and there is always something slightly unsatisfying about a victory on penalties, but the quality of this PSG cannot be denied. They put six past Bayern in the semi-final – their superiority far greater than the one-goal aggregate margin would suggest. It was a similar story in the quarter-final, in which a 4-0 aggregate victory didn’t really reflect how much better they were than Liverpool. And while Chelsea may think they were slightly unlucky to lose the first leg of their last-16 tie away to PSG 5-2, the 3-0 result in the second leg was a devastating assertion of authority: three goals scored by an almost bored opponent apparently just as they felt like it.

Sergio Ramos appeared at Torre Sevilla to address the collapsed purchase of the majority stake in his former club, where he began his professional career. The Spanish defender emphasized his continued commitment to making the operation happen, stating 'I keep offering my hand' to facilitate the deal.
The Sevilla FC shareholders had previously issued a harsh statement accusing Ramos of deception and contract breach since his initial offer on December 31. Despite these accusations, Ramos maintains his position and continues to pursue the acquisition.
Reunion In New York: WR Odell Beckham Jr. Reportedly Agrees To Deal With Giants
Odell Beckham Jr. is going back to his first professional home. The wide receiver has agreed to a deal with the New York Giants, according to multiple reports. The terms of Beckham's deal with New York are unknown, but he visited the Giants on Monday. New York also reportedly agreed to terms on a contract with wide receiver Braxton Berrios earlier in the day. Beckham's return to the Giants had been months in the making. New Giants head coach John Harbaugh, who coached Beckham for a season with the Ravens, told reporters at the owners meeting in March that the team was open to signing Beckham. In those comments, Harbaugh also shared that he and Beckham had remained in contact even after the wide receiver left Baltimore at the end of the 2023 season. A few weeks later, Beckham had a workout with the Giants and underwent a physical for the team. While a deal didn't culminate then, it was apparent that New York's interest in reuniting with Beckham was real. This past week created an urgency for the Giants to add at wide receiver. Wide receiver Gunner Olszewski tore his Achilles during New York's organized team activities (OTAs) session on Friday, thinning the Giants' depth at the position. Star wide receiver Malik Nabers is returning from an ACL tear that ended his second season early, and Darius Slayton is rehabbing from a core injury. New York also lost productive wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency this offseason, but signed veterans Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin. The Giants used a third-round pick on Notre Dame wide receiver Malachi Fields as well. Beckham, 33, didn't play in the NFL in the 2025 season, remaining unsigned for the entire year following a stint with the Miami Dolphins, as he was also suspended six games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. However, he had expressed an interest in playing again multiple times this offseason. Beckham emerged as one of the NFL's top receivers during his Giants tenure. After being taken by New York with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Beckham quickly set Giants and NFL records. He won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014, logging 1,305 receiving yards and making his memorable one-handed grab that season. He also tied Lance Alworth for the NFL record for the fewest games needed to reach 4,000 career receiving yards, as he had at least 1,300 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons. But Beckham's dominance never translated into consistent success for the Giants. They reached the postseason only once in his five-year tenure with the team, causing New York to trade Beckham to the Cleveland Browns in 2019 as part of a rebuild. Now, Beckham will join another rebuilding Giants squad that is hoping to get back into the postseason for the first time in four years.
