Rogers County Dominates State Track

Rogers County will be well represented at this weekend's state track meets with multiple top-seeded athletes competing for titles.

From top seeds chasing gold to under-the-radar contenders, Rogers County athletes will make significant noise at state meets. Inola's Caleb Sims leads as the No. 1 seed in discus after a school-record throw of 160 feet, 2 inches, while Oologah's Kamryn Crenshaw enters the girls 400 as the top seed with a school record time of 1:00.02.

Other notable competitors include Inola's Larkin Sears (No. 2 in high jump), Sophie Helling (No. 4 in 800), and Makayla Fisher (No. 6 in 100 hurdles). The Class 4A meet takes place at Catoosa's Frank McNabb Field, with Class 3A also competing there and Class 2A at Western Heights in Oklahoma City. sport-tr.bet
