McLaren Returns to Le Mans with the Mighty MCL-HY

McLaren returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2027 with the MCL-HY FIA Hypercar, continuing its ambition to claim the Triple Crown of motorsport.

The MCL-HY will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship alongside the development of a track-only GTR variant. This new Hypercar program is designed to challenge for victories in the premier class.

Testing is scheduled to begin this month. McLaren aims to complete the Triple Crown by adding a Le Mans win to its existing successes in Formula 1 and the Indy 500. mchezo.co.za
