Donovan to start rehab stint in Arkansas

Mariners outfielder Brendan Donovan is set to begin a rehab assignment with the Double‑A Arkansas Travelers next week after a left groin strain sidelined him since mid‑April.

Donovan, who has hit .304/.437/.518 in 18 games this season, will play the first two games of the Travelers’ schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday. If he performs well, he could join the Mariners in Chicago after the off‑day on Thursday. chincha.pl
