Hawks Suffer Historic Playoff Loss to Knicks

The New York Knicks eliminated the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs first round with a 140-89 victory, marking one of the worst playoff losses in Hawks franchise history.

The Knicks dominated from the start, scoring 83 points in the first half, including 40 in the first quarter, establishing the largest halftime deficit in NBA playoffs history. Atlanta couldn't find their footing throughout the game as New York cruised to the victory.

Just before halftime, tensions escalated when Hawks' Dyson Daniels and Onyeka Okongwu got into a fight with Knicks' Mitchell Robinson following a free throw attempt. Daniels and Robinson were ejected from the game. lebandit.lat
