Gerome Warburton beat former British champion Nathan Heaney to capture the WBA Continental Middleweight title, noting that a world title remains a distant goal.

Warburton, now ranked 11th in the WBA middleweight rankings, said the victory over Heaney at Manchester’s Co‑Op Live Arena feels surreal. He added that while a world title remains a dream, his focus is on continuing to win and inspire younger fighters.
