UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria has reiterated his desire to face Islam Makhachev, stating the matchup is a 'must-see' event that he believes the UFC should prioritize.

Topuria, who fights Justin Gaethje on June 11, acknowledged that while the fight is desired by fans, the scheduling is 'hard to give the UFC advice' on. He aims for a 'triple crown' and dismissed claims he priced himself out of the bout, noting he was reportedly offered the fight on the White House card before Makhachev's injury.
