FC Barcelona face injury concerns ahead of their Champions League return leg after Hansi Flick rested Lamine Yamal and confirmed Pedri has discomfort following their 0-2 defeat to Atlético Madrid.

Despite dominating possession with ten men, Barcelona couldn't break down Atlético Madrid's defense in their 0-2 Champions League quarter-final first leg defeat. Goals from Sørloth and Julián Álvarez silenced Camp Nou.

After the match, Flick explained Pedri's substitution as being due to "some discomfort," while calling for protection for Lamine Yamal against opponents' "excessive roughness." Despite the defeat, the German coach praised Gavi and Dani Olmo's performances as he looks to turn the tie around in Madrid.
