Alabama Basketball Final Polls: Tide Ranked 16th

Alabama basketball finished 16th in the final USA Today Coaches Poll, though way-too-early projections vary significantly.

ESPN ranked the Crimson Tide 20th in their top 25, while On3 placed them at 17. Fox Sports had the highest expectations, projecting Alabama at No. 6 following coach Nate Oats' contract extension through 2032. The Athletic did not include the Tide in their initial rankings.

Additionally, a key starter plans to enter the 2026 transfer portal.
