The projected number one overall pick, Fernando Mendoza, has decided to watch the NFL Draft from his Miami home with family, foregoing the event in Pittsburgh.

The projected top pick, Fernando Mendoza, will not attend the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. Instead, he will watch the proceedings from his Miami home with family.

This is similar to past first‑overall picks who watched the draft from home, such as Travon Walker and Trevor Lawrence.
