Viktor Gyokeres is set for an emotional return to Lisbon as Arsenal prepare to face his former club Sporting CP in the Champions League quarter-final.

Joined Arsenal from Sporting last summer, where he scored 97 goals in 102 games, Gyokeres expressed his excitement for the reunion. "I think he's very excited," Arteta said, noting the striker's gratitude for his time in Lisbon.

The 27-year arrives in top form after scoring five goals in his last three games, including a hat-trick against Ukraine and a winner against Poland to secure Sweden's World Cup qualification. Arteta backed Gyokeres to "create more moments" for Arsenal as they chase trophies this season.
