Olympic 100m silver medallist Sha'Carri Richardson won the Stawell Gift from scratch, beating Charlotte Nielsen and setting a 13.08s time.

Richardson, the 26‑year‑old Olympic silver medallist, overcame a 10‑metre handicap to win the women’s Stawell Gift, clocking 13.08 seconds on the uphill grass track. She beat Australian 19‑year‑old Charlotte Nielsen, who started nine metres ahead, and claimed the A$40,000 prize pot.
