The Tigers, looking to finish a 3‑game sweep of the Cardinals, will host St. Louis on Sunday at Comerica Park. The game will be broadcast on Peacock, NBC Sports Network and MLB.TV.

Veteran pitcher Justin Verlander was scratched with symptoms at age 43 and placed on the 15‑day IL. Rookie right‑hander Keider Montero will make his season debut, while St. Louis will start Kyle Leahy, whose season debut left something to be desired.
