Dubois defeats Harper to unify lightweight titles

In a decisive win at London's Olympia, Caroline Dubois outpointed a bloodied Terri Harper to unify the WBC and WBO lightweight titles.

Caroline Dubois dropped Terri Harper with a jab and left hook in the sixth round, then controlled the bout to win 98‑91, 98‑91 and 97‑92. The London crowd saw Dubois add Harper’s WBO belt to her WBC crown, extending her unbeaten streak to 13‑1. Harper, who suffered a cut in the eighth, fought on until the final bell, but the judges awarded Dubois all three cards. The fight marked the first UK show by Most Valuable Promotions at the historic Olympia venue.
