Michigan Star L.J. Cason Sidelined by ACL Tear

Michigan guard L.J. Cason has missed the remainder of the season and the NCAA Tournament due to a torn ACL suffered against Illinois in late February.

Cason sustained the injury during a game against Illinois on February 27 while chasing down a ball. Although he returned briefly in the second half, he was ultimately ruled out for the season.

Despite the injury, Cason was present for his team's Elite Eight celebration and is scheduled for surgery on April 9. Recovery is expected to take approximately six months.
