Jaiswal, Sooryavanshi: Fastest IPL 500-run Pair

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi created IPL history by becoming the fastest Indian opening pair to reach 500 partnership runs, achieving the milestone in just 248 balls.

The Rajasthan Royals duo broke the previous record held by Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, who had reached the same milestone in 309 balls. This achievement highlights the aggressive and consistent approach of the young Indian openers this IPL season.

Earlier, Rajasthan captain Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to bat first against Gujarat Titans, who were missing their regular skipper Shubman Gill due to a muscle spasm, with Rashid Khan stepping in as captain.
