The Commanders will start their offseason program on April 20 at their Ashburn facility, introducing new offensive coordinator David Blough and defensive coordinator Daronte Jones. The first weeks focus on strength, conditioning, meetings and rehab, giving the new staff time to install their schemes.
Offseason workouts (OTAs) run from May 27‑29, June 2‑4 and June 9‑11, with all work voluntary until the mandatory minicamp on June 16‑18. Washington’s 2026 schedule aims to prepare the team after a 5‑12 finish in 2025.
