Sam Kerr and Caitlin Foord return to the Matildas squad as coach Joe Montemurro prepares for 2027 World Cup with friendlies against Malawi, India or Kenya.

Coach Joe Montemurro has named a 22‑player squad for two upcoming friendlies, re‑introducing star striker Sam Kerr and winger Caitlin Foord after Mary Fowler’s rest.

The Matildas will face 153‑ranked Malawi in their first match, followed by a game against either 67‑ranked India or host Kenya (134) as part of the build‑up to the 2027 Women’s World Cup.
