Arizona GymCats Collapse in Tempe Regional

The Arizona GymCats suffered a devastating loss to Arizona State in the opening round of the Tempe Regional, collapsing in the final rotation after leading by 0.375.

The GymCats had a chance to redeem themselves after a poor bars performance at the Big 12 Championships, but ultimately fell short with two falls on balance beam by Aubrey Krohnfeldt and Jessa Janicke. Head coach John Court took responsibility, stating 'We 1000 percent beat ourselves' as Arizona counted yet another fall away from home.

Despite a strong bars rotation with matching 9.875s from Sophie Derr and Aubrey Krohnfeldt, the team couldn't overcome their final rotation struggles.
