Steelers Shock with Trade, Grab Tyson & Simpson in Mock Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers used a trade to move up to the 32nd pick in a CBS Sports mock draft, selecting Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, while also picking Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson at 21.

In the latest CBS Sports mock draft, the Steelers traded picks 53 and 76 to move up to No. 32, where they selected Alabama signal‑caller Ty Simpson. They also used the 21st overall pick to land Arizona State wide‑receiver Jordyn Tyson.

Tyson, who caught 136 passes for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns in 21 games, was projected as a top‑10 pick before injury concerns pushed him to 21. Simpson, a polarizing prospect with high upside but limited starting experience, is expected to compete for the Steelers’ future quarterback role.
