MSU Baseball, Lugnuts Tweak Crosstown Showdown Rules

Michigan State baseball faces the Lansing Lugnuts in the 2026 Crosstown Showdown featuring a unique, machine-pitched format.

The annual exhibition game will feature pitching machines, a two-hour time limit, and no bunting or stealing. Batters will have six pitches to put the ball in play, creating a high-scoring, fan-friendly event.
