Justin Verlander returns to Tigers vs Diamondbacks

Justin Verlander returns to the Detroit Tigers on Monday night to face the Diamondbacks, his first start since August 2017.

Verlander, signed for one year, takes the mound at 10:10 PM ET. He is 34 wins away from 300 career victories.

The Tigers host Arizona for the series opener. Verlander will return to Comerica Park on Sunday night against the Cardinals.
