Kevin Reidler, the former Penn State goaltender, has agreed to a two‑year entry‑level deal with the Ottawa Senators, beginning with the 2026‑27 NHL season. He will play the remainder of the 2025‑26 campaign with the Senators’ AHL affiliate, the Belleville Senators, before his NHL contract takes effect.
Reidler posted a .901 save percentage and a 3.31 goals‑against average in 18 starts for Penn State last season, and was drafted by Ottawa in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Draft. The move makes him the fourth Penn State goalie to sign an NHL contract, following Eamon McAdam, Peyton Jones and Arsenii Sergeev.
