The St. Louis Battlehawks, led by rookie head coach Ricky Proehl, secured a 36-17 victory over the defending champion DC Defenders, earning them the top spot in the 2026 UFL power rankings. Proehl, a former 17‑season NFL wide receiver, celebrated his first win as a head coach with an emotional address from the sidelines at The Dome.

The rankings also place the Houston Gamblers (0‑1) at eighth and the Louisville Kings (0‑1) at seventh, with the league poised to crown a champion at spring’s end.
