Dominic Smith delivers historic walk-off grand slam for Braves

Less than two weeks after his mother's death, Braves DH Dominic Smith hit a walk-off grand slam, becoming the first player in MLB history to achieve this feat with a new team.

Smith connected off closer Carlos Estévez to secure the 6-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals. Crediting the Braves' support during his difficult time, he said, 'This team is just so awesome.' Smith expressed gratitude for their care while honoring his late mother.
