USA Falls 5-2 to Belgium in Pre-World Cup Friendly

The United States men's national team lost 5-2 to Belgium in their final World Cup warmup match, despite taking an early lead through Weston McKennie.

The USMNT impressed in the first half with McKennie putting them ahead in the 39th minute, but Belgium responded with four consecutive goals before halftime. The Americans managed a late consolation through substitute Patrick Agyemang.

The defeat ended the USA's three-match winning streak against World Cup-bound teams. Despite the lopsided score, coach Mauricio Pochettino can take some positives from the first-half performance as he prepares to select his final 26-player World Cup roster.
