Penn State Falls to Minnesota-Duluth in Frozen Four

Penn State's hockey season ended in disappointment as the Nittany Lions fell 3-1 to Minnesota-Duluth in the regional semifinals.

Penn State scored first, but Minnesota-Duluth took control. Despite high expectations and superstar freshman Gavin McKenna leading the team, he struggled with just two shots on goal and a turnover that resulted in the game-winning goal.

The loss is a tough end to a promising season. However, McKenna remains a likely top pick in the upcoming NHL Draft and a Hobey Baker Award finalist.
