Marcus Peters Named Head Coach at McClymonds High

Marcus Peters, a nine‑year NFL veteran, has been appointed head football coach at McClymonds High School in Oakland, where he played as a teenager.

Peters, who earned Pro Bowl honors and 33 interceptions during his nine‑year NFL career, will replace longtime coach Michael Peters, who retired after a successful tenure.

McClymonds finished the 2025 season 10‑2 and ranked 149th in California high‑school rankings, and Peters is expected to build on that foundation.
