The Jets, after adding veterans like Geno Smith, are focusing on the 2026 draft to address key gaps at WR2, quarterback, and cornerback.

After a busy first wave of free agency that brought in Geno Smith, T'Vondre Sweat, and Minkah Fitzpatrick, the Jets now have nine draft picks, including four in the top 50, to shape their roster for the future.

The team’s top priorities are a reliable WR2 to support Garrett Wilson, a long‑term quarterback solution to replace Smith, and a stronger secondary after signing Nahshon Wright and hoping sophomore Azareye'h Thomas steps up.
