Flames Defenceman Joel Hanley Ruled Out for Rest of Season

Calgary Flames defenceman Joel Hanley has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an undisclosed injury, confirmed by head coach Ryan Huska.

Hanley suffered the injury during Thursday's game against the Anaheim Ducks. The 34-year-old appeared in 68 games this season, recording seven assists.

He agreed to a contract extension last off-season, leaving one year remaining on his deal.
