Chris Sale Leads Braves Past Royals in Opener

Chris Sale tossed six strong innings, allowing just three hits and striking out six, as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-0 on opening night.

Sale (1-0) gave up three hits and three walks while fanning six. The Braves offense provided run support with homers from Ozzie Albies, Drake Baldwin, and Michael Harris II.

Mauricio Dubón added an RBI double to close out the scoring. With the starting rotation dealing with injuries, Sale's strong outing provided a boost, while Robert Suárez secured the eighth inning in relief.
