Aberdeen Confirm Heltne Nilsen Exit, Sign Bwomono

Aberdeen have confirmed the departure of midfielder Sivert Heltne Nilsen to FK Haugesund and signed defender Elvis Bwomono until the end of the season.

Aberdeen midfielder Sivert Heltne Nilsen has left the club to return to Norway, joining second-tier side FK Haugesund after a successful stint that included a Scottish Cup win. The 35-year-old expressed gratitude for his time in Scotland but acknowledged it was time for a 'new chapter.'

In response to Nilsen's exit, manager Stephen Robinson has bolstered the squad by securing the services of former St Mirren defender Elvis Bwomono. The 27-year-old Uganda international, who was on a short trial, reunites with his former boss and stated he is eager to help the team finish the season strongly.
