Jones vs. Pereira Set for White House UFC

Despite Dana White previously calling the odds of Jon Jones appearing at the UFC's White House card 'billion-to-one,' it now appears the former champion will face Alex Pereira in what could be an interim heavyweight title bout.

Pereira vacated the light heavyweight title this past weekend, and Jones confirmed he's negotiating the deal. The matchup makes sense as Jones is the only American fighter with enough reputation to carry the flag for the event, which coincides with a celebration of American independence.
