Wilson Retires, Joins CBS as NFL Analyst

Russell Wilson has officially announced his retirement from the NFL via social media and confirmed he will join CBS as an analyst for The NFL Today.

Wilson, a third-round pick in 2012, made 9 Pro Bowls in 10 seasons with the Seahawks. He won a Super Bowl and was the highest-paid player in the NFL twice before playing for the Broncos, Steelers, and Giants.

The Jets had interest in adding Wilson as a backup, but he chose TV over continuing to play. His Hall of Fame candidacy will likely be debated in the coming years. sport-newz.biz
