Jets LB McCrary-Ball Signs Tender

Jets linebacker Marcelino McCrary-Ball has signed his exclusive rights tender, securing his spot with the team for the upcoming season.

McCrary-Ball, 27, was an exclusive rights free agent who signed the tender on Wednesday according to the NFL's transactions wire. The linebacker injured his hamstring in Week 3 of the 2025 season but returned to play two games after being activated from injured reserve.

During the 2025 season, McCrary-Ball played 106 defensive snaps and 120 special teams snaps, recording 23 tackles and a forced fumble. After beginning his career with the 49ers in 2022, he joined the Jets' practice squad in 2023 and has become a valuable special teams contributor with 363 special teams snaps over three seasons.
