DTM driver Maximilian Paul has been confirmed to have suffered a spinal injury alongside leg fractures following his severe crash at the Norisring.

Three days after his severe DTM crash at the Norisring, the full extent of Maximilian Paul's injuries has been confirmed. Team principal Gottfried Grasser revealed that the 26-year-old driver suffered a fibula and tibia fracture as well as a lumbar vertebra fracture. palladian.co.za

Initial reports had only mentioned lower leg injuries, but the team has now disclosed the additional spinal injury following the serious crash during Saturday's race.
