Toto Wolff earns Steiner praise for Canadian GP decision

Former Haas F1 team principal Guenther Steiner has praised Mercedes boss Toto Wolff for allowing his drivers to battle at the Canadian Grand Prix.

Steiner, who led Haas until 2023, commended Wolff's decision to let George Russell and Kimi Antonelli race without team orders during the recent Montreal event. The 2026 F1 season's new regulations have coincided with Mercedes' dominant start, with the Brackley outfit winning every grand prix so far.

The German team's strategy of allowing on-track competition appears aligned with the spirit of the new regulations aimed at enhancing on-track action. toffler.lol
