Cup Stars Race Trucks at Bristol

Seven NASCAR Cup drivers, six of whom have won at the sport's highest level, will compete in this weekend's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The increased participation comes as NASCAR raises the limit on races Cup drivers can run in lower divisions for the 2026 season. This change is expected to result in more Cup regulars competing in O'Reilly Auto Parts and Craftsman Truck Series events throughout the year.

Among the seven drivers confirmed for the Bristol race are several championship-caliber competitors, highlighting the growing crossover between NASCAR's premier series and its support divisions.
